The Bushwig festival of Drag, Music & Love is committed to fostering innovation and creativity in performance. Our mission is to provide a space to showcase new talent, as well as build a community focused around art and music. Mixing emerging queer cultures alongside mainstream artists gives attendees the opportunity to entangle themselves in a plethora of ideas and philosophies.

We are so excited to celebrate our 10th year of Bushwig. We started as a one-day party, and have grown into a full weekend, considered by many to be a New York queer holiday. We hope you’ll come celebrate with us!

Bushwig is a transgender, queer & latinx owned business.

General Info

Bushwig is open from 2:00 to Midnight on Saturday and Sunday.

We often run late on Saturday night. With over 200+ performers it can be difficult for us to keep a tight schedule. We’ll never run more than one hour overtime. Please bear this in mind when planning your visit.

The full schedule will be released 1st September.

Bushwig Safe(r) Spaces Policy

BUSHWIG will not tolerate racist, sexist, transphobic, homophobic, biphobic, femme phobic, ageist, ableist, fat phobic, classist, xenophobic or oppressive behavior or language of any kind at our festival.

We depend on our queer family and allies to create queer community spaces free from discrimination, violence and hate.

There is only room for people who make room for others so we reserve the right to deny space to anyone who breaks these principles.

If you have any doubts that your outfit may offend people, we ask you not to wear it! Be you! (google: cultural appropriation)
